How this website handles personal data
This note describes the Terranova Strategy website as it is built. It is a set of static pages. There is no account, no newsletter list, and no analytics or advertising tool of our own. We do not set tracking cookies.

Hosting
The pages are published with GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub. When your browser opens a page, GitHub receives the technical data needed to deliver it, including your IP address, the page requested, and basic browser details. We do not run a separate visitor database. GitHub describes its own handling in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Fonts
The typeface is Inter, loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, so Google receives your IP address and browser details for that request. We do not receive that information. Google describes this in the Google Privacy Policy.
Contact form
The contact page, and the contact window that opens from enquiry buttons, send a message to us by email. The form is delivered through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which passes the message on to contact@terranovastrategy.com.
If you write to us, we receive:
- first name and last name
- email address
- phone number, role, country and organisation type, if you provide them
- organisation name
- the topic you select, and your message
- the address of the page the form was sent from
A hidden field is there only to catch automated submissions. If you leave it empty, it is not part of your message. The confirmation that you have read this note is checked in your browser and is not sent with the email.
We use these details to read and reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of that conversation. If an engagement follows, the correspondence becomes part of that work. We do not add you to a marketing list. FormSubmit handles the transmission as an independent service; its site is formsubmit.co.
Ordering Insights
On the homepage and on Insights, the site may ask one of two public services, country.is or ipapi.co, which country an IP address is in. Those services see your IP address. We do not receive the IP address, and we do not store it.
We keep only the two-letter country code in your browser’s session storage, so Insights relevant to that country can be shown first during the visit. Session storage stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab. If the lookup does not answer, the site uses your browser’s time zone on your own device, and that time zone is not sent to us.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other organisations, including the organisations we work with. Opening one of those links takes you to that organisation’s site. We do not receive data from that visit.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct or delete it where the law allows. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Write to contact@terranovastrategy.com.
